Artistic process
The ways in which memories travel between the mind and the world of objects, how history is written and remembered and what is left out are recurring themes in my art. I am also fascinated by the free zones of our society. Sometimes I make sculptures, sometimes film or photographs, it all depends on what idea I am working on. Many of my the ideas comes from walks. For me, walking is a way of thinking - I have always been restless. In recent years, I have worked with analog film, still and moving images. The film nature fascinated me, like fantasy or electricity, is it, half alive and half dead, when it moves through the human mind and in our technology.
